Inequality as Structure

This monograph develops S-theory, a relational framework for measuring and interpreting economic inequality. Departing from the conventional view that inequality is a scalar property of distributions, the book advances the central claim that inequality is a structured relational object, while scalar indices are necessarily projections of that structure.
