Description
The quantum measurement problem exposes a fundamental tension at the heart of modern physics: the coexistence of a continuous, deterministic evolution governed by the Schrödinger equation and the discontinuous emergence of definite outcomes in measurement. Despite theempirical success of quantum theory, no consensus has been reached on how or whether the so-called “collapse of the wavefunction” should be understood as a physical process, an epistemicupdate, or an artifact of incomplete description. This monograph proposes a systematic reconstruction of the measurement problem by replacing the notion of collapse with a unifiedframework based on phase transitions, field geometry, and closure dynamics.
